Heavenly Father, we pray especially for those who are unmarried in our congregation. For those who desire a spouse and for those who embrace the blessing of singleness and who have committed their lives in service to you. Help our singles to live out the life you have given them in love and service to you. Lord, protect them from those who would attempt to misuse and deceive them. Help them to know your word and the gifts you have given them. Help us as a congregation to love, support and encourage them. Teach us how to support our single parents and make us a welcoming place of love and support for them and their children. This is our prayer, In Jesus Name. Amen
